Three Hundred Years on Penwith Farms

This book is based upon the Lanhydrock Atlas maps of selected farms in West Penwith together with maps of the same properties from Tithe Maps. Both maps provide land use data allowing comparisons of farming practice to be made. Both maps provide data regarding tenants/occupiers and this has been augmented with information from inventories and wills to provide a more complete picture. The period covered by the book is extended by use of first series 25 inch OS plans of 1878.
