Members were interested to hear about the early days of the Penwith Local History Group as recorded in the eleven note books of Gillian Green. It was founded in March 1990 to help The Morrab Library which was in financial difficulties. Later afternoon lectures on the second Wednesday of the month were held to raise funds for the library. Gillian was the inspiration and guiding light behind the group for thirteen years during which time four books were produced.
